TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 8. Uzbekistan’s
Namangan area demonstrated regular financial exercise within the first
two months of 2025.
As per knowledge obtained by Pattern from the Namangan regional administration, the
area’s complete commerce turnover reached $221.4 million from January
by February 2025. Of this, $90.6 million got here from exports and
$130.8 million from imports.
The amount of business manufacturing within the area amounted to
4.2 trillion soums ($326.2 million). Building works reached 1.3
trillion soums ($100.9 million), whereas the turnover of retail commerce
totaled 3.3 trillion soums ($256.3 million). The market companies
sector confirmed notable efficiency, producing 6.8 trillion soums
($528.2 million) in quantity.
As of March 1, 2025, a complete of 24,654 enterprises and
organizations (excluding farms and family plots) have been working
within the area. Out of those, 20,448 have been categorised as small
enterprise entities.
In the meantime, the gross regional product (GRP) of the Namangan
area amounted to 68.9 trillion soums ($5.3 billion) in 2024,
which is 7.6 p.c increased year-on-year. The expansion fee of GRP
was attributable to optimistic progress charges in agriculture, forestry, and
fisheries p.c (share within the GRP construction p.c); trade
p.c (16.7 p.c); development p.c (8 p.c); and the
service sector p.c (45.5 p.c). GRP per capita elevated by
5.3 p.c and amounted to 22.2 million soums ($1,724).
