Despite a good season, they have let go of him and retained the likes of M Sudhakar and Sandeep Kumar in the raiding department. Both were secondary raiders but have got the nod ahead of their Sachin.
The 25-year-old has been one of the consistent performers in the league and season 10 saw him excel in do-or-die raids fishing the team out of troubled waters more often than not. The surprises existed in the defensive department as well with the release of Krishan Dhull.
